Look for the Verified mark. Coaches can filter to Verified only, so the number she earns is the one they see.

Camps and showcases work the same way.

A coach sees her results next to everyone tested, Verified only if they want. A number earned at your combine is one they can recruit on.

Our guests are CEO Dave Anderson and Senior Sports Biomechanist Casey Weins. See the new ways to measure athletes, and how to use AI-verified metrics in the app.
A flag football combine is a testing day where every athlete runs the same tests, such as sprints, the 5-10-5 shuttle and jumps, so speed, agility and power can be compared on the same numbers. BreakAway is a combine testing app for any sport, flag football included. Time the 10, 20 and 40 yard sprints, the 5-10-5 and Max Speed, measure the vertical and broad jump, and every result lands on the athlete's profile, marked Verified when BreakAway measured it.
The 10, 20 and 40 yd sprints, Max Speed, the 5-10-5 shuttle with five splits, the vertical jump and the broad jump. Any combine can also add height, wingspan, standing reach, body weight, the L drill, lifts and longer runs.
On the phone. The AI speed video times the 10 and 20 yd sprints and the 5-10-5 from a clip. The AI jump camera measures the vertical jump, and LiDAR on Pro iPhones measures height. A built-in stopwatch, tape measure and keypad cover every other test.
Verified means BreakAway measured it: the result came from the AI jump camera or LiDAR, from the AI speed video, or from event staff entering it on the web. Results keyed into the phone at the event and anything an athlete or parent adds show as Self entered.
No, and the profile says which is which. Stopwatch, tape measure and keypad results recorded in the mobile app are Self entered. If someone edits a measured result, the Verified badge comes off.
Yes. AI-Verified Metrics (Max Speed and the 5-10-5, verified by AI) and the Combine AI tests are Premium. Premium is $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year, and one plan covers up to 4 family members.
Families register and pay online, sign waivers and get an Apple or Google Wallet pass with a QR code. At the combine, staff scan the pass to check the athlete in, assign a jersey and take a check-in photo.
Each athlete gets a report card when their testing run ends, and every result lands on the Metrics tab of their profile with personal bests, progress over time and where they rank on the leaderboard.
Yes, when the athlete shares their profile. College coaches search prospects by position, grad year and verified metrics, and can filter to Verified results only.
