Can the quarterback run in flag football?

Usually not directly. NFL FLAG does not let the quarterback run. USA Flag and IFAF let the quarterback run only after the ball comes back on a handoff or pitch. We found no college limit.

This rule shapes your whole offense. Young quarterbacks often want to take off and run.
